Meet The Machine…
‘MINI-PRO’ Tutorial
A key feature of any Lagree Machine is the spring-loaded carriage. The Mini Pro has five springs: White (Extra Light), Black (Light), Two Gray (Heavy), and Red (Extra Heavy). Your instructor will guide you on which spring tension to use.
Spring pushed in means engaged, pulled out means disengaged. Adjust your springs and tap the carriage back at home to engage as needed.
SPRING TENSION
The carriage slides along the monorail. The rod around the carriage and platforms is called the Ring of Fire, which adds variety for planks and helps tuck your feet or legs during lunges.
Your springs sit at the back of the carriage under the Ring of Fire. The carriage also has two indicias: the Front Line Indicia and Number One Indicia, which simply help your coach set you up for each move.
THE CARRIAGE
Cierra Brandt, Co-Founder & Coach
Our studio has nine MiniPro Machines. If you visit other studios, you might see a Micro, Mini, or MegaFormer. The MiniPro is unique because it has a monorail. Each machine has a front and back platform, a spring-loaded carriage that moves along the monorail, and a steel base.
Accessories include one bungee, hand cables, straps, a pole for balance, and adjustable platforms.
THE MACHINE
At the top of your MiniPro, you’ll find four indicias. These markers act as landmarks to help you line up your spine and find the center of the machine. They’re a solid tool your coach can use to set you up correctly for each move and ensure proper alignment throughout your workout.

Understanding The Lagree Method
SPRINGS VS. WEIGHTS
All Lagree machines are engineered to teach users at a slow pace for long sets and are equipped with springs, rather than weight, since resistance and tension innate to springs is variable, allowing users to adjust tension by adjusting body placement—a critical reason as to why Lagree equipment includes indicia and lines on platforms and carriages.
